LGBT Health Scholar Trainee Award

Home / Awards / LGBT Health Scholar Trainee Award

The LGBT Health Scholar award was created to enable trainees dedicated to research and practice on LGBT health and wellness to attend the Annual Meeting. The LGBT Health Scholar winners will receive travel reimbursement in the amount of $500 to attend the meeting. Applicants need not necessarily self-identify as sexual or gender minorities but can also include heterosexual and cisgender allies dedicated to a common goal of reduced LGBT health disparities.

Applicants must be an APS member or in the process of becoming a member and must have submitted an abstract for the meeting to be eligible for the LGBT Health Scholar Award. The deadline to be considered for this award is January 31, 2022.
