Early Career Network

Home / Groups / Early Career Network

Chair

Tasneem Khambaty, PhD, co-chair

Rebecca Reed, PhD, co-chair

The goals of the Early Career Network are to promote the interests and issues unique to early career individuals within APS, including opportunities for early career scholars to make contributions to or hold leadership positions within and beyond the APS community. The ECN seeks to bring together scholars from a variety of disciplines and methodological perspectives; provide a platform for knowledge exchange; and create opportunities for innovative research collaboration across behavioral medicine areas.  Participation in the Early Career Network will address the needs of underrepresented populations such as women and minorities in academia/ research/ clinical work to promote a growing, vibrant membership actively benefiting from belonging to APS.  The Early Career Network will also encourage the involvement of MD and other early career members in the SIG and in APS committees and activities.
