MD Travel Award Program

The American Psychosomatic Society (APS) is pleased to accept applications for the MD Travel Award Program. The purpose of this program is to bring together the expertise of senior clinicians paired with between 4 to 6 trainees (medical students through junior faculty). The program will take place on Wednesday, March 6 at 8 am in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in conjunction with the 2019 APS Annual Meeting. Each attendee will have the opportunity to meet with a mentor to discuss career goals and receive productive feedback.

In order to submit your application, please complete the following (1) General Information, (2) CV, and (3) a one-page summary of your interest in attending the APS meeting and your career goals. Applications are due by November 1, 2018.

If selected, trainees will be invited to attend a reception the evening of Tuesday, March 5 and will receive complimentary registration to the 2019 Annual Meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, March 6-9, complimentary registration to a workshop on March 6, a complimentary ticket to the Banquet on March 9 and a $500 travel stipend. This award is competitively renewable in 2020
